This painting I titled “The Prophecy”. It has such an incredible story, I want to share it with you!
I have had a love for Israel and Gods people all my life, as did my father, and my grandfather. When the opportunity came to go, I couldn’t hold the tears back as I stood overlooking Jerusalem at last! I was there for my children, myself, my dad and my grandfather!!
We met incredible people there! On a return mission trip, William and I had the privilege of serving with 2 couples who are funding a mission called Project Naomi. The heart of Dr Sean George was to produce a music project to bless this endeavor. Both couples prayed for the Lord to show them who to do the CD cover art and the Holy Spirit led them both individually to this humble artist. Praise God! This piece incorporates the Dead Sea Scrolls, and a sword with pierced feet at the end of the blade depicting the crucified Christ that came to save humanity.  The eternal impact of that gift is seen in the splitting of the darkness, bringing light and hope through the fulfillment of Isa 53, and many more prophecies recorded in Scripture of the coming Messiah.  

I used Acrylic, Oil, Cold Wax, and both Silver and Gold Leaf.
