Beauty.  We long for beauty, we strive for beauty, we access beauty, criticize and categorize beauty.  It speaks to our souls, it refreshes us, inspires us and haunts us with its mystery.

However, isn’t food for thought that the Creator of all loves variety and finds pleasure and good in all His creations.  He looks within for grace, love and forgiveness for beauty.  It’s us and our programed contrived perceptions of what is truly inexpressible and mysterious that has ruined lives and placed extraordinary merit and value on what one has very limited control over.  

We can manipulate our bodies, enhance and even rearrange our shape with surgeries and false additions to appeal to the Beauty seekers.  What if we spent more time contemplating the purity of our hearts, and found to our amazement that change within made more of difference than any other?

“… the LORD does not see as man does. For man sees the outward appearance, but the LORD sees the heart.”  1Sam 16:7

“Let your true beauty come from your inner personality, not a focus on the external. For lasting beauty comes from a gentle and peaceful spirit, which is precious in God’s sight and is much more important than the outward adornment of elaborate hair, jewelry,[a] and fine clothes.”  1Pet 3:3,4
